Then there was the speed. What an ex-
perience to go down Broadway for the
first time when the movies were over.

しています．ザルツブルクとは大違いです．そ
して、人も車も、このスピードの速さ．すっ飛
んで行ってます．映画館で映画を見終わって、
初めてブロードウエイを散歩したときの体験は
何とも言えぬ驚きであった．
