A stubborn expression came into the
young face.
“ There must be a way somehow. It's
worth trying.”
And that matter was settled.
The week was not yet over when a
long distance call from Munich stirred us
from our quietude for good. The Trapp
Family had been chosen as a representatives
from the Ostmark (formerly Austria) to sing
for Adolf Hitler's (“our beloved Führer ”)
birthday.
