The lodging above comprised three apart-
ments. The staircase led to a dining-room
which also did duty as drawing-room. In
a niche on the left stood a porcelain
stove ; opposite, a sideboard ; then chairs
were arranged along the walls, and a
round table occupied the centre.

階段は食堂に通じており、そこが客間を兼ねて
いた．左側の壁龕には瀬戸物製のストーブがあ
り、その反対側は、サイドボードが置かれてい
た．それから壁には椅子が並べられて、部屋の
真ん中を丸テーブルが占めていた．
