It was the dream of every artist in the
world to be allowed to give a concert during
the Salzburg Festivals． But there were so
many sopranos and basses, tenors, voilinists
and pianists that they had to wait their turn
patiently． But there was only one swinging
family, and this was not a concert； it was
a festival．

ザルツブルク音楽祭でコンサートを開く許可がもらえ
るというのは世界中のアーチストすべてが夢見るところ
でした．あまりにも多くのソプラノ歌手、バス歌手、テ
ノール歌手、ヴァイオリニスト、ピアニストたちが出場
を辛抱強く順番待ちをしていたのです．だけどたったひ
とつスイング・ファミリーがいました．それはコンサー
トではなく、フェスティバルでの出場でした．
