"This is the unique planet which is most similar to the theory of formation of the solar system among any planets discovered before." Mr. Uffe Grae Jorgensen said, who is a scientist of Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhargen and one of members of the team for discovering planets.

According to the scientists, the OGLE's mass is five times of the earth, but that is the smaller and colder planet than any other planets detected before. That is revolving around a red star, the mass is 1/5 of the Sun, and the period of revolution is ten years. The star is cold and far from the orbit of the OGLE, so the surface temperature is about minus 220 degrees in centigrade. The scientists thinks that the water can not exist as the liquid on OGLE.

Scientists calls this discoverly "Epoch-making" . That was realized by the technology which was advocated by Albert Einstein. This method is using the network of telescopes which are installed all over the world. The planet was named "OGLE-2005-BLG-390". This name refer from the name of telescope (Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment). The main telescope is in the Warsaw University astronomical observatory in Poland. That was used first at July 11, 2005 to look for new planets.

Scientists announced a planet which is more similar to the earth than any other planets. The distance between our planet is about 20,000 light-years. The planet is located on the universe where is apart a little from the center of the Galaxy.

Talk about Linux

I talked with my friend about Linux at chat. I learned many things from him. There are some window manager for UNIX or Linux. They make the display's looks so cool. I want to use them after buying a new notebook. I'm looking forward to working on such cool display.

I cooked the stew today, but it is not good. It has no taste because I failed in the proportion of the water. In addition, leeks were melt in the stew cause of the too long boiling. These became almost dietary fiber. The whole color is green a little. I am a bad cook.

Linux system of my lab

I went to a lab in which I will start studying from this spring. The main machine is Linux, so I had to study about that. I learned that from seniors of the same lab. This lab has some workstations and servers, and what I should study was how to connect from the workstation to the server. I simulated them after a graduate student made my account in the server. I could get some new friends who belong to the lab.

I ate some rice cake which I bought at a supermarket some days before, but it is not good. I yearn for my grandmother's one.
