Warning for prevention of difficulty in hearing

A doctor advises young people not to listen the music continuously　longer than two hours by a headphone. The music player like the iPod have spread on the world, and a lot of young people use them everyday. These are very useful because these are very small and the capacity is so big, but the abusing causes the young people to be hard of hearing according to the doctor.

The doctor is a specialist of the auditory. Mr.Christine Albartas of Marshfield Clinic warned against using the music player for a long time. The serious case is when a human listens the sound which is bigger than 80 dB. Listening such the big sound without a break, the human become hard of hearing soon. He says most young people have some damage on hearing more or less. According to a medicine magazine, the estimate percentage of noise deafness about young people is 12.5 percent. In the trend of iPod, many persons concerned have bigger apprehension recently.

I am also an enthusiast of such the music player, so I have to care about it.

Slippery ( Sorry, examinees )

Any sidewalks are slippery these days. The rain fell on the snow, so the snow became hard, and that was like the ice. I walked on such slippery road totteringly to the university. I almost tumble down many times. After classes, I went to a supermarket to buy foods. Many kinds of vegetables were 99 yen. I bought onions and sweet potatoes.

In Japan, some words; "slip" or "fall", are taboo for all students preparing for the examination. I do not say the reason because such students might see this diary.
