Notebook

I bought a notebook in Amazon. Before installing Linux, the HDD have to be partitioned for getting the area of Linux. I thought this process must be easy by using a special software. Against the expectation, I could not do that easy because HP's notebooks need a command before partitioning.

Booting the PC after executing the command, the HDD is allowed to partition. I want to install Linux next.

Sunny days

Sunny days have continued recently. The mountain of snow start to thaw, and I can see the ground which I had not been able to see for a long time. It is hot days, so I can live without a fan heater. I may be able to go outside with no jackets.

Same restaurant

I went to a same restaurant with a professor as where I went to yesterday with my parents. It is so good restaurant, and I was happy for the accident. Other students also came and ate with us, and a few student ate the most expensive menu because that was the professor's treat. The students have to study the corresponding amount to the expensive menu.

After that, I talked with elder students of same laboratory. All of them are so friendly, and I could enjoy the talk. It is only a sadness that some of them will leave this lab this spring for the graduation.

Lunch with my parents

I went to a restaurant with my parents. They bought some tanks of kerosene and a case of oolong tea for me. I'm so happy because I can not buy them as usual by the weight. A case of oolong tea has six PET bottles. Why do I carry such a big baggage without a car? It is a kind of training. I have many bottles of tea now, so I need not to buy and carry a heavy bottle for a while. When I go to a supermarket, I always suffer for a PET bottle. I am thankful with my parents.

My sister will leave from my parents' home next month. They are very busy for the preparing. I recall when I prepared for living alone to go to a university. A life with nobody was lonesome a little at first, but I got used gradually. I hope her living become a happy life.

Complete separation of smoking areas

Smoking areas become smaller and smaller nowadays. Our university also started to separate the smoking area. There are some smoking rooms at each floor, but some of the space is no smoking now. Smoking rooms remaining is completely separated by a door and the wall. I am not a smoker, so it is not so big problem, but that is pitiable for the smoker. Smokers feel so small not only in our university but also in whole society. I don't know why smokers continue smoking in spite of such a situation. Smokers should stop smoking just now. I may be able to say so because I am not a smoker.
