Hello, everyone. I’m Takashi Aikawa. I was born and brought up at Kawasaki City in Kanagawa prefecture. After the graduation of Yokohama City University, I came to Shizuoka prefecture as a high school teacher. First, I started at a night high school in Shimoda city. At that time, I got married and we had a first child. I named him Ryo. I had lived there for five years. After that, we moved to Fuji city and I taught at a girl-school at Yoshiwara. There, we had a second child, Makoto. We had lived there for seven years. Then, we moved to Mishima city and I taught at a general and commercial high school. After we had lived there for one year and four months, we moved to Susono city, because we had a new-built house. We have lived here for more than forty years. Now I have three grand-children, two live in neighbor-house, but one lives in Yokohama city. One of my grand-children, Shyo, who is a boy and a high school student and Koh, who is a girl and a junior high school student. My second son Makoto, who got married the year before last and last year they had Sana, who is a girl and one years old now. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing Sana, a very cute baby. They’ll come to my house on a New Year day. More than ten years have passed since we lived by only two people.
I have several favorite things such as taking pictures, watching a baseball game and playing “Igo” game. It is a traditional game in Japan. It is very difficult to play, but very interesting. Now, it is played in many countries such as China, South Korea and Europe. It is played on the Internet. I enjoy playing it with my friends and on the Internet.
I sometimes play “Majon” with my old friends. They were my colleagues when we worked together forty years ago. That’s all. Thank you so much.
