この文は基本的にとてもよく書けていますので、変更していません。visit は「人を訪ねる」という意味でそのまま使えるため、I visited our business partner は自然です。また、business partner も「仕事上の協力会社・取引先」を表す語として問題ありません。our を入れて「自分たちの会社の協力会社」という関係性を自然に表現できています。in Chiba の位置も自然で、「千葉にある協力会社」という意味が明確です。今回のような仕事の日記では、I went to see... とすることもできますが、visited のほうが「訪問した」という事実を簡潔に伝えられます。つまり、この文は難しい表現ではありませんが、仕事上の出来事を自然な英語で簡潔にまとめられているので、そのまま覚えて十分使える表現です。

ここは文法的な間違いというより、日本語の「お気の毒に」のニュアンスに合わせた変更です。I'm really sorry. 自体は正しい英語ですが、英語では文脈によって「自分が謝っている」「申し訳なく思っている」という意味にも聞こえます。今回のように、相手が台風で事務所を浸水させられて大変な思いをしているのを聞いて「お気の毒に」と感じた、という意味なら I felt really sorry for him. が自然です。sorry for him は「彼を気の毒に思った」という意味になります。さらに過去の日記なので、I'm ではなく I felt と過去形にすると、そのとき訪問して話を聞いて「気の毒だと感じた」という出来事としてきれいにまとまります。really もそのまま残しているので、「本当にお気の毒だと思った」という感情が伝わります。ここで I felt bad for him. とすることもできますが、今回の「お気の毒に」という意味なら I felt really sorry for him. は覚えやすく、日常英語として使いやすい表現です。
