There’ve been lots of things that I want to do,
places that I want to explore and people that I want to mingle with, but why do I feel so deprived of these things…especially when it comes to traveling….

 

I always love to travel; it started when I was a High School student, when we need to ride on a jeepney everyday for us to reach to our school.

That simple experience made me realize how going to other place feels like and I also enjoy being in a long trip, seeing other people and witnessing their individual businesses.
And on this young state of my mind I started to appreciate traveling and I started dreaming to travel to other places also.

 Traveling is an activity that can be enjoyed by just about anyone. 

Why wouldn’t it be? It gets you away from your normal scenery to something totally new.
Traveling can bring a new sense of life into a person and make it a very interesting life and give you a completely new view on the world.

 

There are many people all over the world who have never really been outside of 100 miles from where they may live.
Some people have never gone further than even 50 miles and there are people who have yet to go past 25 miles from where they were born.
This is such a sad predicament considering on how much they are missing out.
And these types of people include me.
I really envy people who have gone to many places; even those places are just around the archipelago of the Philippines.
And believe it or not I never had been to places outside this city.

But this thirst for traveling is temporarily quenched by the books, magazines, and internet where they feature popular places that tourists visits.
And two of the main reasons for why people want to go traveling are to absorb the culture and meet the people who live in such an interesting place.
To them, what we may perceive as different and interesting might be completely normal to them while we are the ones who are different and interesting. Traveling around the world can give you a much better understanding of how the rest of the world is doing and give you a new perspective on how you can live your life.

 

For me this dream of mine is just like reaching the unreachable stars, maybe for others this dilemma is nonsense but for me it’s not.
Traveling is my biggest dream and I know that there are lots of hindrances along the way, but like what others always tell “Think Positive”. But do dreams stay as dreams forever?
