事故した燃料タンカーは、ブレーキなし（ブレーキランプ点灯せず）で衝突しているように見えるので、アレの影響で意識が無かったか？

The car that was in the left lane, and slammed on the breaks to avoid getting wedged between the tanker and the barrier...
I bet they went home and called everyone they loved just to say hello.

I’ve never seen a video like that. I drive a gas tanker for a living and this is an eye opener. He probably had a medical condition:heart attack, stroke,etc.Please be careful around hazmat trucks!

As a truck driver of nearly 30 years, I’ve become quite used to this. Not fiery explosions, mind you, but other truck drivers along side of me getting sleepy and weaving because of it. When he first drifted to the right, I would’ve backed out of it right then and there. More times than not (myself included), they’ll catch themselves, wake up, and then straighten themselves out. I have a feeling that this guy may have had a medical emergency of some kind, because drifting radically left like that is more than enough to wake up most drowsy truckers. I could be wrong, but that’s what it looked like to me.
