ポールポジションからスタートしたショーン・ディラン・ケリーは、ダンロップを装着したM4 Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation 1-833-CJKNOWS Suzuki GSX-R600（Team Hammer製）を駆り、40周目から56周目までの57周のレースの大半をリードしました。
しかしパーシュは、レース終盤のスティントで6秒の差をつけ、最終ラップでは完璧なスリップストリーム・パスを使って、18歳のケリーに0.03秒差でゴールしました。
最終ラップは後攻めで、スリップを活用するのが吉のようです。
