H-Pipeは、低中速のトルクが上昇、ピークパワーは、ほんの少しダウン。
X-Pipeは、中高速のトルクが上昇、ピークパワーは、Straightと同様。
X-Pipeは、排気音も良くなるが、ネックなのは価格が高いこと。
排気干渉が多い＝抜けが悪いと、低中速のトルクは出るがピークパワーは出ない。
逆に抜けが良いと、トルクは痩せるがピークパワーは出る。
そこを両立させたのが、X-Pipeのような雰囲気。
背圧のコントロールで、エンジンのトルク特性が変化すると言うサンプルであった。
マフラーの世界も奥が深い。
1％未満のパワー差は、乗ってもわからないと思うが・・・音は重要。
これ見たら、V8は、X-Pipe一択です（笑）
