If you’ve been a reader of Build Threads since the beginning, then you might remember the BladeRod feature from back in 2009. It’s owner, Mark, the man behind the very entertaining automotive YouTube channel, HoonTV, is a bit of a CBR900 nutter, as he explains in detail in this video. One of the bikes from his fleet of CBR’s is this ’98 model currently in the build at Extreme Creations. Being built in a Street Fighter style it features a heap of custom parts such as a half machined/ half hand-formed plenum, an Aprilia swing arm, billet wheels, oh and did I mention the Garret T28 turbocharger?

The Garrett GT2854R Turbocharger is the smallest Garrett turbo in the GT28 Family.
Like the GT2554R turbocharger. The Garrett GT2854R turbo will give you 270 HP. It works well with 1400cc to 2200cc engines and will also be a good turbo if you only are looking for 170 HP. It will spool up pretty quick because of ball bearings used in the turbocharger.
映像は、1998年式CBR900をターボ化してストリートファイターにする計画です。
手っ取り早いパワーアップは、過給器装着でしょうね（笑）
最新式との大きな違いは、エンジン（馬力）でしょうし。
押し込み式キャブターボでやっているようですが、現在なら燃料噴射なのでターボ化はより容易。
ハードが楽な分、ソフト面で苦労しそうだが・・・
カワサキH2も出ることですし、バイクも過給器時代突入かも知れない。

Garrett GT15 – GT1544 – Both 150 HP Turbos

Garrett have 3 different GT15 turbochargers. Two of them are almost identical with the differences being with the exhaust housings and flange. They are good for 150 HP and work well if you are looking for 100 HP. The recommended engine size for these are 1000cc to 1600cc.
