2012年モデルのCBR1000RR（ABS搭載モデルを含む）は、スタイリングの見直しと足回りの大幅な見直しを実施。特にホイールとサスペンションは一新され、扱いやすさの向上が図られている。スタイリング面では初代モデルのテイストが盛り込まれ、よりシャープな印象となった。カラーリングはパールサンビームホワイトとヴィクトリーレッドの2色。それぞれにABSモデルが設定される。
