初日のランチはとても残念
スペクトラムオブザシーズに乗船し、避難訓練、その後にランチを楽しく食べるはずでした。
ローストビーフ、ローストポーク、ローストチキンとタンパク質3種をメインに、食べてみました。
しかしどれも硬くて、私の歯にはまったく合いませんでした。
こんなはずではなかった！？と思いながらも、ランチは早々に切り上げ、
スーツケースの片付けをすることにしました。ディナーに期待しつつ。
Very disappointing lunch on the first day.
We were supposed to board the Spectrum of the Seas, have an evacuation drill, and then enjoy lunch.
We tried the three main types of protein: roast beef, roast pork, and roast chicken.
But all of them were hard and did not suit my teeth at all.
It was not supposed to be like this! we thought, but cut lunch off early,
We decided to clean up my suitcase. Looking forward to dinner.
時間の経過は日頃の倍速
いつもながらクルーズは、時間の経過が日頃の倍速で進むような気がします。
スーツケースを片付けていると、もはやディナーの時刻になっていました。
片付けもそこそこに、スマートカジュアルに着替え、メインダイニングへと急ぎ駆けつけました。
Time passes twice as fast as usual
As usual on a cruise, time seems to pass twice as fast as usual.
As we was putting away my suitcase, it was already time for dinner.
We changed into smart casual clothes and hurried to the main dining room.
ディナー初日のダイニング・エントランスは長蛇の列

初日のディナーは、自分のテーブルがどこなのか分かりません。
クルーズカードに記入されているテーブル番号へ案内してもらわなければなりません。テーブル案内スタッフを待っているためゲストの列ができるのです。
(注)スイート等上級クラスキャビンのゲストの場合は、専用のダイニングルームが割り当てられますので、Pic.01の様な待ち行列は少ないか、またはありません。
マイタイム(セレクト)ダイニングの場合は、その時の状況によりますが、初日は同様に待ち行列が発生すると思われます。

On the first day of dinner, we don't know where our table is.
We must be directed to the table number on our cruise cards.
As a result, there was a long line of guests waiting for the staff to show them to their table!
(Note) For guests in upper class cabins such as suites, a private dining room will be assigned, so there will be fewer or no queues like in Pic.01.
