- No.72 バルセロナから緊急ヘリが飛んできた【空と海を乗り継いで77日間世界一周】

The ship docked at Granadilla port on Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spanish territory), on May 10th. Passengers disembarked under strict quarantine measures and were transported to their respective home countries by special aircraft (for isolation and observation).2. A week later, another guest was airlifted again.   未だ復旧せず甚大な桟橋破損2022年夏の連続的な落石クルーズ船が接岸する「レイルロード・ドック（Railroad Dock）」の上の斜面で大規模な岩盤崩壊が相次ぎました。この影響でドックの一部が破損し、夏の観光シーズンに多数のクルーズ船の寄港がキャンセルされる事態となりました。また、すでに、2017年フェリー桟橋及び隣接しているホーランドアメリカライン専用桟橋が崩壊しています。--------------------------------------No. 56 Skagway: The damage to the pier due to the rockfall is extensive.【60 days Around and Trans-Pacific cruise】Still Unrepaired, Severe Pier DamageContinuous Rockfalls in Summer 2022A series of large-scale rockfalls occurred on the slope above the "Railroad Dock," where cruise ships dock. At its base lies Lake Mendenhall. We can see the glacier in the distance.メンデンホール氷河ビジターセンター行バスBus to Mendenhall Glacier Visitor CentrePic.05ホーランド・アメリカ・ラインの桟橋前にある切符売り場（メンデンホール氷河ビジターセンター行バス）で購入できます。数社あるので、それぞれ料金交渉が必要です。2025年6月現在、＄80～90 / 1名と、お店によってことなるので、お気を付けいただきますよう。Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office (bus to Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Centre) located in front of the pier of Holland America LineSince multiple companies operate this route, you will need to negotiate prices with each company. They provide this kind of bus shuttle service. And of course, it's free.Pic.06プリンセスクルーズラインのドック前まで送迎してくれます。丁度、グランド・プリンセスが停泊していました。The Shutlle coach provide transportation right to in front of the Princess Cruises dock. The Grand Princess was docked there at the time.Pic.07プリンセス・ドックの向かい側は、ケチカン・クリークへの最短コースです。右側のレンガ色の建物を回り込むと直ぐ見えてきます。Across from Princess Dock is the shortest route to Ketchikan Creek.You'll see it immediately after going around the brick-colored building on the right.--------------------------------------2011年に訪れた”ケチカン・クリーク”の様子、こんなところです。2026年現在も、まったく変わっていません。This is what Ketchikan Creek looked like when I visited in 2011.As of 2026, nothing has changed here.Pic.08ここがケチカンクリーク入り口です。木造の建物はすべてお土産屋さんです。This is the entrance to Ketchikan Creek. All the wooden buildings are souvenir shops.Pic.09これがケチカン・クリークです。海水が引き込まれていて、上流の川と繋がっています。従ってクリークは、鮭の上流への通り道になっていて、無数の鮭が泳いでいます。This is Ketchikan Creek. Seawater is drawn into it, connecting it to the river upstream. Jutting out into Burrard Inlet, this distinctive white building resembles a series of tents and was designed to resemble a ship's sails and masts.Currently used as an international conference center, FlyOver Canada opened in 2015, offering a virtual 4D scenic flight experience over Canada's natural beauty and cityscape.   （2026年2月情報）都会の喧騒を超越した心晴れ々の絶景と心暖まる食事ができるラウンジ近代的な長崎県庁と新幹線が発着するJR長崎駅に隣接し、都会の喧騒の真っ只中にあるにも拘わらず、ラウンジからは正に心晴れ晴れする絶景が望め、かつ、地元名物を味わいながら、ゆったりと和食中心の食事ができる素晴らしいホテルがあります。そのホテルの名は「ヒルトン長崎」。本投稿は、その中でも私が最も好きな「ラウンジ朝食」についてご紹介します。-----------------------------------------------------------------------(Latest information as of February2026)The lounge where you can enjoy a heart-warming mealand breathtaking views that transcend the hustle and bustle of the city.【Cruise Extra Edition】Located next to the modern Nagasaki Prefectural Government Office and JR Nagasaki Station, where the Shinkansen departs and arrives, and in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, there is a wonderful hotel where you can enjoy a truly refreshing view from the lounge and a relaxing meal featuring mainly Japanese cuisine while savoring local specialties.The name of this hotel is "Hilton Nagasaki."In this post, I'll introduce my absolute favorite: the "lounge breakfast."----------------------------------------------------------------------------ヒルトン長崎のエグゼクティブラウンジ内部の様子をご紹介しますThis is a view of the executive lounge at Hilton Nagasaki.Pic.01左側に位置しているのがヒルトン長崎です。赤色矢印で示しているところに「エグゼクティブラウンジ」が位置しています。その右側の建物が、民放の長崎放送局（NBC）です。その間には、稲佐山山頂展望台や通信鉄塔が建っているのが見えています。ラウンジからは、稲佐山の正面全貌を臨むことができます。On the left is the Hilton Nagasaki.To its right is the commercial Nagasaki Broadcasting Station (NBC).The Executive Lounge is located where the red arrow indicates.Between them you can see the Mount Inasa Summit Observatory and a communications tower.From the lounge, you can see the entire front of Mount Inasa.Pic.02エグゼクティブラウンジのメインテーブルです。36席あります。This is the main table in the executive lounge.There are 36seats in total.Pic.03エグゼクティブラウンジのサブテーブルです。12席あります。This is the sub-table in the executive lounge. It's incredibly tender and has a fantastic texture. You absolutely must try it!ある日の朝食第一弾One day's breakfast, part onePic.17日本ならではの素晴らしく美しいオムレットA wonderfully beautiful omelet unique to Japan.-------------------------------------------------終わりに賑やかなメインストリートの喧騒の中、長崎駅前で空港リムジンバスを降り、徒歩5分のヒルトン長崎のフロントでチェックインしました。部屋に入った瞬間、爽快感と活力がみなぎりました。角部屋の2つの窓からの眺めは息を呑むほど美しく、その景色に心を奪われました。さらに、翌日の朝食がどんなものか気になっていたのですが、ラウンジの朝食がとても美味しかったのです。レストランでは提供されていない「エッグベネディクト」、「角煮まんじゅう」もありました。一方、レストランでは、長崎名物の「ちゃんぽん」や五島名物の「五島うどん」をはじめ、ラウンジにはない様々な料理が楽しめます。ラウンジもレストランも、地元長崎名物や特産品を筆頭に、日本料理を主として提供しており、大変満足しました。ヒルトン長崎は、私のお気に入りのホテルのひとつになりました。In conclusionAmidst the hustle and bustle of the main street, I got off the airport limousine bus in front of Nagasaki Station and checked in at the Hilton Nagasaki reception, a 5-minute walk away.The moment I entered my room, I felt refreshed and invigorated. It has a spacious bathtub. The shower facilities are immediately accessible when you step out of the bathtub, making it a very functional space.The non-slip wood-grain floorboards are also functional and comfortable to walk on.--------------------------------------------------------------正面の大きな窓から見るとこんな感じですThis is what it looks like from the large front window.Pic.08朝日に照らされた、美しい稲佐山の全貌を眺めることができます。We can see the beautiful Mount Inasa illuminated by the morning sun.Pic.09午後になると、稲佐山の上空に珍しい雲が現れました。In the afternoon, these unusual clouds appeared over Mount Inasa.Pic.10稲佐山に沈む、美しい夕日も楽しめます。We can also enjoy the beautiful sunset over Mount Inasa.Pic.11夜には、こんなに美しい稲佐山の夜景を見ることができます。At night, we can see the beautiful night view of Mount Inasa.Pic.12少しクローズアップしました。山頂には、稲佐山のシンボルである、ライトアップされた展望塔や通信鉄塔が美しく輝いています。Here's a closer look.At the summit, the illuminated observation tower and communications tower, symbols of Mount Inasa, shine beautifully.--------------------------------------もう一方の窓と洗面台の窓からも、女神大橋を中心に、美しい景色を眺めることができますPic.13この日は、大型クルーズ船は入港していませんでしたが、クルーズ船は、ターミナルのある左側の埠頭に停泊しますので、窓からその様子が一望できます。There were no large cruise ships arriving on this day, but they dock at the pier on the left where the terminal is located, so we'll be able to get a good view of them from the window.-------------------------------------------------終わりにメインストリートの喧騒の中、長崎駅前で空港リムジンバスを降り、徒歩5分のヒルトン長崎のレセプションでチェックインしました。そして、部屋に入った瞬間、心晴れ晴れ、清々しい気分になりました。角部屋の2つの窓から見える景色は爽快で、美しい景色に目を奪われました。朝も昼も夜も、そこにいるだけで一日中楽しめる、本当に素晴らしいお部屋でした。ヒルトン長崎には各階に角部屋がありますが、もちろん全ての角部屋からこの景色が望めるわけではありません。また、角部屋が空いていない場合は、稲佐山が見える部屋をリクエストするのが良いと思います。FinallyAmidst the hustle and bustle of the main street, we got off the airport limousine bus in front of Nagasaki Station and checked in at the Hilton Nagasaki reception, a five-minute walk away.The moment we entered the room, we felt refreshed and invigorated.
