船会社(Royal Caribbean International) からのメールには、チェックイン時刻は11:00と連絡がありました。
私たちは、GRABタクシーにてホテルを9:30に出発し、所要時間15分でクルーズターミナルに到着しました。料金はSGD16でした。

Check-in at Marina Bay Cruise Center Singapore
I received an email from the cruise company (Royal Caribbean International) informing me that the check-in time was 11:00.
We left the hotel by GRAB taxi at 9:30am and arrived at the cruise terminal in 15 minutes. The price was SGD16.

ターミナル到着後のチェックイン手順
① 荷物の預け入れ
ターミナル入口では、どの船会社でも必ず、大きな荷物(スーツケース等)を預けるよう案内があります。
案内にしたがって荷物を預けます。
(注)荷物タグについて (下記 Pic.03)
Webチェックインすると、詳細な案内と共に、荷物タグのプリントアウト用フォーマットが添付されます。これを予めプリントアウトし、ホテル出発前に、ホッチキスまたはテープで、荷物にしっかりと取り付けておきます。
もし忘れていても心配ありません。預け入れ場所で、部屋番号を手書きしたタグを取り付けてくれます。

① Checked baggage
At the terminal entrance, all cruise companies will always ask you to leave large luggage (suitcases, etc.).
Leave your luggage according to the instructions.
(Note) Regarding luggage tags (Pic.03 below)
When you check in online, you will receive detailed instructions and a format to print out your luggage tag. Print this out in advance and securely attach it to your luggage with staples or tape before leaving the hotel.
If you forget, don't worry.
At the drop-off location, they will attach a handwritten tag with your room number.

ラゲッジタグ用専用ケース
昨今、クルーズ船ラゲッジタグ用の専用ケースが通販で売られており、スマートに取り付けることが出来ます。
(価格は、5-6枚入り¥500--1200程度)

These days, special cases for cruise ship luggage tags are sold online, and they can be attached smartly.
(Price is around ¥500--1200 for 5-6 pieces)
② チェックインカウンターへ
次にチェックイン会場へ行きます。
会場には必ずスタッフがいますので、チェックインしたい旨を伝え、指示に従ってチェックインカウンターへ行きます。
パスポートを提示し、質問に答えます。
船会社により、クルーズカードは、チェックインカウンターで発行する会社と、船内のキャビン内またはドアポストに置いておく会社がありますので指示に従ってください。
また、チェックイン書類が必要な船会社と不要な船会社がありますが、念の為、チェックイン書類をプリントアウトして持って行った方が無難です。
(注) スペクトラムオブザシーズの場合、クルーズカードは、キャビン内のベッド上に置かれています。
キャビンの準備が完了し入室できるようになると、必ず船内放送がありますので、注意して聞いてください。

② Go to the check-in counter
Next, go to the check-in venue.
There will always be a staff member at the venue, so tell them that you would like to check in and follow the instructions to go to the check-in counter.
Show your passport and answer the questions.
Depending on the cruise company, some companies issue cruise cards at the check-in counter, while others leave them in the cabin or at the door post, so please follow the instructions.
Also, some cruise companies require check-in documents and others do not, but it is better to print out the check-in documents and bring them with you just in case.
(Note) On Spectrum of the Seas, your cruise cards are placed on the bed in your cabin.
When the cabin is ready and you can enter, there will be a broadcast on board, so please listen carefully.
③ チェックイン終了後
カウンターでのチェックイン終了後、直ぐに乗船できる場合とそうでない場合があります。スタッフの指示に従ってください。
上記写真 Pic.01、Pic.05 は、チェックイン終了後の待機場所での様子です。
大抵の場合、待機場所では、相当数(30〜50名程度)集まり次第、乗船の案内があり、乗船が始まります。

③ After check-in
After checking in at the counter, you may or may not be able to board the ship immediately. Please follow the staff's instructions.
The above photos Pic.01 and Pic.05 show the waiting area after check-in.
In most cases, once a sufficient number of passengers (about 30 to 50 people) have gathered at the waiting area, you will be guided to board the ship and boarding will begin.
④ 乗 船
スタッフの支持に従って乗船口まで移動します。
チェックインカウンターでクルーズカードを受領した場合、乗船口でクルーズカードを提示し、チェックを受けます。
クルーズカードを受領していない場合は、キャビンへ行きカードを取得します。

④ Boarding cruise ship
Follow the staff's guidance and move to the boarding gate.
If you receive your cruise card at the check-in counter, you will need to present your cruise card at the boarding gate and undergo a check.
If you have not received your cruise card, go to your cabin to obtain one.
以上で、スペクトラムオブザシーズ チェックインは終了し、いよいよ待ちに待った乗船が始まります。
