We will start traveling around the world today.
When we woke up in the morning, the sun was about to rise from the top floor of a high-rise condominium.

シンガポール前泊
今日は、クアラルンプールからシンガポールまでマレーシア航空で移動し、シンガポールクルーズターミナルからそう遠くないところにあるホテルに一泊します。
私達は、一泊以上～遠隔地では一週間程度の時間的余裕を持って目的地へ到着するようにしています。
交通機関の遅延、欠航、更には自分達の体調に対するバッファを確保するという意味合いです。
Overnight before Singapore
Today we will fly Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and stay overnight at a hotel not far from the Singapore Cruise Terminal.
We try to arrive at our destination with at least one night or, in remote areas, a week to spare.
This is to ensure a buffer against traffic delays, cancellations, and our own physical condition.
朝食ラウンジ
マレーシア航空 GOLDEN LOUNGE REGIONALの様子です。
REGIONALとは、シンガポール、インドネシア、タイ、ベトナムといった近隣諸国を指します。私達がよく利用する KLIA Terminal 1 のサテライト側ではなく、メイン側のターミナルにラウンジがあります。
Breakfast Lounge
Malaysia Airlines GOLDEN LOUNGE REGIONAL is how it looks.
REGIONAL refers to neighboring countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. It has a lounge in the main terminal, rather than the satellite side of KLIA Terminal 1, which we often use.
KLIAへ到着すると、雷雨が激しくなっていることに気付きました。ラウンジ(Pic.02,03,04,05)で朝食を済ませ、出発ゲートへ行くと、シンガポールから到着しているはずの飛行機が未だ到着していません。
インフォメーションボードには、遅延15分と出ています。しかしながら、30分経過しても到着する様子はありません。
その後アナウンスがあり、「シンガポール空港の落雷により、機材が使用出来なくなりました。機材を急遽変更しますので、ゲートが代わります。お客様は、ゲートXXへ移動してください。」
シンガポール空港では、ここKLIA以上の激しい落雷が発生した模様でした。
機材到着せず緊急変更により、結局、一時間遅れの出発でした。
Singapore Airport Lightning Strike
One hour delay due to aircraft change and gate change
Upon arrival at KLIA, we noticed that the thunderstorm was getting heavier.After finishing breakfast in the lounge (Pic.02,03,04,05), we went to the departure gate to find that the plane that was supposed to arrive from Singapore had not arrived yet.
The information board says that the delay is 15 minutes.However, 30 minutes later, there was no sign of arrival.
Then an announcement was made due to a lightning strike at Singapore Airport, we are unable to use our aircraft.The aircraft will be changed urgently and you will be transferred to a different gate. Please proceed to gate XX.
It seemed that there were more severe lightning strikes at Singapore Airport than here at KLIA.
In the end, the flight was delayed by one hour.
