1989年の8年ぶりの全米ツアーに便乗するかの如くアブコ・レコーズが企画発売した、豪華ブックレット付きの3枚組CD（LPレコードは4枚組）。
寄せ集め集とはいえ、英国と米国でシングル盤として発売されたことがある58曲が発売順に収録されているサマは圧巻。
本作発表当時はCD化されていなかった「メタモーフォーシズ」の4曲や「ウエストコーストの宣伝屋」の初登場バージョンが収録されていたことが注目されていた。
02年のカタログ改正時に廃盤になることなく現在も継続販売されているものの、「メタモ」がCD化され、「～の宣伝屋」が通常バージョンに差し戻された状況ではどれほどの購入価値があるのか疑わしかったのだけれど、中古盤市場で高価売買されていた「ストリート・ファイティング・マン」のシングルバージョンが02年盤で初CD化され、
「アブコ商法」
のイヤらしさモドかしさを改めて痛感したものですが、アブコの創始者アラン・クラインさんも昨年鬼籍に入りました。
