World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth recently got shook with the addition of an island. And just like, that the namesake world just got bigger and much more exciting. The island in question is none other than Kul Tiras. If it sounds familiar to you, that’s because it’s where Archmage Jaina Proudmoore and her father Admiral Daelin Proudmoore hails from. From the graveyard of forgotten relics to a huge port of sea priests and pretty much everything in between, here are the Kul Tiras places that are worth exploring.

Go get your WoW mount because we’re going island-trekking!

Beginning With Junk

Let’s start small and simple with the Abandoned Junkheap. Yes, you read that right; it’s an actual junk heap. But it’s by no means a garbage dump; rather, it’s more like piles of all sorts of anachronistic Azerothian tech in some crevice. It’s in the island nation of Kul Tiras, hidden in the place’s typical fantasy hills and greenery.

The best time to visit this hidden gem of a place would be around the afternoon, as the gold-tinged leaves, as well as the bronze and rust-colored things lying on the ground all, combine to give a breathtaking sight. No need for an Instagram filter!

This place, however, isn’t a walk in a park full of lost tech. If and when you go here, be ready for a fight because robot dogs call the Abandoned Junkheap home. Check out the V-300 SENTRY, which looks like your typical canine assault automaton. As if that wasn’t bad (or challenging) enough, there’s also a mechanical panther in the place. It looks pretty cool and would be a good pet for a Gnome Hunter.

Unfortunately, aside from admiring the scenery and scrapping robots modeled after carnivores, there isn’t anything else to do in the Abandoned Junkheap. Nevertheless, it’s still a unique place that’s well worth a visit—if only at least once. Maybe you can even make it your own official not-so-secret hangout. Better yet, why not tell your friends about it, and maybe this spot could turn into a sort of unofficial go-to place?

Nautical Blessings

Other than the Abandoned Junk Heap, there are other places in Kul Tiras that you should definitely see, thanks to Blizzard working really hard on the aesthetics department. For starters, there’s Stormsong Valley. Being in Kul Tiras, the place has a nautical theme and is very much dedicated to seafaring. It’s got a port where almost all ships from the area should pass through in order to be blessed, making them unique and more wanted by the Alliance.

Speaking of blessings, Stormsong Valley has a five-player dungeon called Shrine of the Storm, which is where sea priests pray and cleanse themselves. It’s something that they have to do on a regular basis, as these supposedly holy men and women are facing a curse.

Druids and Pirates

Next would be Drustvar, a forested mountainous region that supplies weapons to all of Kul Tiras. Other than providing arms, Drustvar is also known for its druidic and witchy magic, as well as being the former home of the now-gone Drust people, a large and tenacious druidic race, thus the name of the area.

Last, but most definitely least, is the Tiragarde Sound, an area that’s overrun by pirates and therefore has an abundance of WoW gold. With Kul Tiras being an island, it’s no surprise that it’s going to have a place full of seafaring scallywags. Thus, it’s only fitting for it to have two dungeons: Freehold, a pirate stronghold, and Siege of Boralus, which is a max-level dungeon.

Junkyards, ports, and pirate coves – these places exemplify just how diverse Kul Tiras is. So if you don’t know where you should go in Battle for Azeroth, Kul Tiras would be a great place to start.

Your exile in Wraeclast has just begun, and you’re still unsure if you’re doing things right. Don’t be afraid; even the best of the best had to go through that. To help make the transition from novice to seasoned veteran in no time, here are a few handy tips about POE Items and classes will make the start of your journey smoother.

Path to Optimization

The first thing you should take care of is not in Wraeclast, but in your home: we’re talking about the very PC you’re playing in. Make sure it’s optimized in such a way that you’re not going to experience lags and recurring freezes, as a split-second of inaction in-game can get you killed. This is especially true in tougher dungeons and leagues. Thus, it’s better to find the game configuration that will ensure that you won’t encounter hiccups of any kind.

A good example of this is by choosing Fullscreen windowed mode instead of Fullscreen mode, as the former works a lot better. You can also use third-party programs to smoothen up game performance. For example, there’s the Loot Filter that can help save you from the hassle of sifting through the loot. You’ll also have better performance because your screen won’t be as cluttered without the tool.

Classes and Crystals

Once you’ve optimized your setup, the next thing you should ponder over is choosing a class. That, of course, would depend on your personal preference and play style. Once you’ve committed to a particular class, the next thing you should plan is your build.

Classes in Path of Exile are very flexible, thanks to the fact that they share the same passive skill tree, albeit having different starting points that determine the class’s traditional abilities. That means you’ll be able to diversify your build later on according to how you want it. You can even make highly-creative builds like bow-wielding duelists and witches, tank-based Shadows, and even a spell-casting Berserker.

If you choose to go with a more out-of-the-box build, you can always experiment, follow build guides, or mix things up a bit – or a lot – with the guides that you’ve found. That’s the beauty of Path of Exile.

Speaking of experimenting, you should try your hand on the different sorts of skill gems you’ll find. By testing them one by one, you’ll eventually figure out which ones suit your particular play style, and ultimately the build you’re coming up with. Unless you’ve already decided on a build, don’t buy gems just yet; you’ll find plenty of them in your leveling phase anyway.

Leveling Before Gearing

Another important concern for you as a budding POE player is the leveling phase. It’s going to be an important part of your life in Path of Exile, but it’s not going to last forever. The items you get during this phase, however, will definitely last until the day you quit the game unless you engage in POE trading.

While you’re still leveling up your very first character, it’s safe to say that you still don’t know the game enough to determine the worth of the items you get, especially gear with five or six linked and POE orbs. Thus, you’re better off keeping them until you’ve gained enough wisdom to know which ones are useful.

Instead of modifying the gear you get, you’re better off going with Unique gear for leveling. They have great stats, and you don’t have to (as well as can’t) modify them, so there’s no danger of losing orbs.

A little knowledge is much better than none at all. Hopefully, these little tips will help you succeed as you take on Wraeclast for the very first time. Because in such a rough and unforgiving place, you’ll really need all the help you can get.

Running the Inferno raid takes quite a significant amount of time and patience. Chances are you’ll need more than one try to get it right. So whether you're trying to get the Inferno Cape, the Jal-nib-rek pet, or if you simply welcome the challenge, here are some tips to survive your Inferno run.

These tips aren't specific to a kind of run. They're applicable to the raid as a whole. Unless you're going to run a ‘no pillar' Inferno, that is. In that case, the tip about trapping creatures in the corners of the pillars are moot.

Prayer-Flicking: What it is and How it's Done

Perhaps the most important tip for running Inferno without supplies is to learn how to "Prayer-flick". The basic premise for it is keeping a prayer active without using up prayer points.

How is this possible?

The game runs on server ‘ticks'. Each tick has an interval of 0.6 seconds. Prayers only use up points if they're active for a whole game tick. To keep them from using up the prayer points, you turn them off (or switch to another prayer) before an in-game tick ends.

It seems easy in theory, but it takes a little bit of practice if you want to be able to do it without thinking. However, it's a great technique to conserve prayer points. When you're proficient at it, you'll be able to save inventory space for other supplies and save your OSRS gold as well.

Know and Take Advantage of the Pillars

The other portion of strategy in completing Inferno is knowing where the safe spots are. The creatures that spawn sometimes get stuck on the corners of the pillars. In that space, they can't attack you (but you might not be able to attack them either). Knowing where these are can earn you space to breathe and recover for the next wave. The pillars can also keep some of the spawns from reaching and hitting you. With some of them blocked, you're free to focus on one that isn't.

There are many videos and guides to help you find out where these are. Then there's also what to avoid and how to defeat the boss.

That's Not All, Though

Of course, these aren't the only things that will get you through the Inferno. There are more things that factor in, such as gear, luck, or RNG. It also takes a certain degree of skill and knowledge to get through this tough raid. You're going to have to try again and again just to get some things right. Even when things are seemingly going right, there are subtle nuances that can always go very wrong. Those kinds of situations are hard to prepare for, and it's through much practice that you'll be able to adapt to them. So practice often and don't get discouraged by failed runs. They’re part of the learning curve, after all.

If you need further clarification or in-depth explanations, check out YouTube guides or search the internet. There's sure to be one that can answer the questions you may still have.

Now, go and get your Inferno cape or finish your challenge. You're not going to get better at anything if you don't try. Enjoy OSRS!

The Release Date

You won't have to wait long for Fortnite to start making waves on Android. If you're planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, it'll be available for that device as early as August 24th. If not, you'll just have to wait till September 23rd.

As for specs, here’s some more good news: They're relatively low. A phone with at least a quad-core processor, a capable chipset, and 3GB of RAM will be able to play it smoothly. There's an initial list of phones that will be able to play the game. Don't worry if your phone isn't there, though. If the device has at least the same specs (or even better than) those on the list, it may be able to play the game.

Not on Google Play?

In the wake of these announcements, there are rumors that the app won't be available through Google Play Store. This is quite a shocker since it is, after all, how they distributed the game for other consoles. Many speculate that this is due to the fact that Epic Games is trying to avoid the 30% cut from revenue. Sure that's going to raise their profits, but there are a couple of downsides to this that we can think of.

One, it's a big security risk to the users. Even now, hackers are taking advantage of this information to trick players into downloading their virus or malware. They're sending official-looking emails with an ‘invitation' to try out the app. These are fake, so be wary. Don’t get fooled!

Two, it makes installation a tad bit complicated which might turn off some people. Making the game accessible to all kinds of consoles opens it to a wider audience. However, those who are less tech-savvy might keep to the Play Store, thereby closing them off to the game entirely.

At any rate, this off-store distribution might just be a limited time thing, such as for an open beta test. While there are pros and cons to this decision, only time will tell what the end result will be. Still, be careful and be sure of what you’re downloading.

How About iOS?

Those who use Apple products can sign up for invites to download the game on the official site. When you've registered your interest in the app, you'll soon receive an email with a link. That link will then lead to the App Store page of the game where you can promptly download it.

Otherwise, you could have a friend send an invite code to you. The game can actually be downloaded whether you or not you receive an invite. However, you can only access the game if you got an invite code that comes in the email or a friend sent one.

Take note that Fortnite in iOS is still in the testing stages. The number of players will increase as time goes by, but there's no word on the full release yet.

So that's all we know about Fortnite coming to Android. It's just over a month away. Soon you'll be able to bring the game anywhere you go. In the meantime, you can continue playing on your preferred console for around 30 days, right? Be patient and it will come sooner than you expect.

See you on the battle bus soon!
