Hello to all the people who have English speaking friends and followers.
We’ve added English subtitles to our video this time for a few different reasons.
The most exciting part about our group is the live performances,
and our LIVE is filled with “happy vibes”.
We’d be so happy if we could bring even a little joy to the lives of people who watch this.
This was on our mind while creating this video.
It was very real when we all had to “stay home”, But it’s not just our country suffering from this COVID-19. People who are interested in visiting Japan, may not be able to do so for a while.
We thought that if there was a video of a “happy Japanese group”, it could lighten up everybody’s mood, and their wait time would be more enjoyable as they look forward to the day when we are able to travel again.
We hope this reaches such people as:
Those who have friends living abroad who are interested in Japanese music, and
Those living abroad and who have a majority of followers in the area they are in.
As well as those studying Japanese or learning English in Japan...
We believe that the English subtitles will broaden our world.
And connect us.
We believe this wholeheartedly.

この度ウカスカジーの大冒険に英語の字幕をつけました。
その理由はいくつかあります。
このグループの魅力はライブにあります。
そしてそのライブは ”ハッピーなヴァイブスに満ち溢れている” というところ。
この映像をみて、少しでも皆様の生活に微笑みと活気が戻ってきたら嬉しい。
そんな想いで僕らはこの映像作品を仕上げました。
自宅待機が続いていたころですね。
現在コロナで大変なのは我が国だけではありません。
日本に興味があるけれど、来日できるチャンスはきっとずっと先。
『日本のハッピーなグループ』のライブ映像があったら、その時を心待ちにできるのかな。そんな風にも想像しました。
日本の音楽に興味がある外国の友達がいる。
今、海外に住んでいてフォロワーはその街の人が多い。
日本語を勉強しています、という外国の方。
英語を勉強中の日本の方。
などなど。
きっとこの字幕が世界を広げてくれる。
そして繋げてくれる。
僕はそう信じています。
