No.5. La gamba in Tenor
As the name suggests, this is the form with the fixed melody on the tenor. The piece already introduced in Daupart Books is not this one, but the one with the fixed melody on the bass.
Looking only at the fixed melody introduced above, one might mistake it for a three-beat system, but as indicated by the time signature, it is a clear two-beat system. Besides, there are no clear cadences, so the music cannot be classified.
