No.96 (William Byrd) "When I was otherwise"

According to the CPDL, this song is included in "Songs of Sundrie Natures" (1589), but there seems to be no easy way to see the original, so I give up.

 

bar1-6 : When I was otherwise then now I am,
             I loued more but skilled not so much,

bar6-13 : faire words & smiles, could have contented than,
              my simple age and ignorance was such:

bar13-20 : But at the length, experience made me wonder,
                 yt(=that) harts and tongues did lodge so far a sundr.
