Nova Musices Organicae Tabulatura Dritter Theil(Johann Woltz)

No.75 (Alia) Fuga Colorata (Adam Steigleder)

The table of contents lists the name as Adami Steiglederi, but the title of the song has the initials A.S.O.V. That's an abbreviation of the name "Adami Steiglederi Organoe di Vlmensis clarissimi", which appears later in Track 77. It is a bit strange that the Wikipedia information mentions Nova Musices Organicae Tabulatura, but does not mention that he is the organist of Ulm.

Thinking I had seen this piece somewhere before, I searched for it and discovered that it was the second piece of Torino Manuscript Canzoni strumentali Libro 1.

As you can see, it is attributed to Giovanni Gabrielli. Perhaps Steigleder embellished this existing piece.
