'Iolani School's annual celebration of dance opened with "Four Doors," featuring our jazz, hip-hop, ballet, lyrical and contemporary dancers in Grades 3 - 12, and our Stage Band 3 and Orchestra 4 in "Four Doors".
The evening continued with Hālau 'Iolani presenting "Kaulana Nā Pua: 125 Years of Hawaiian Restoration." Through the gift of hula, the student dancers will demonstrates how Hawaiians have grown from the ashes of cultural destruction to reclaim their identity and to stand proud as Hawaiians into the future.
The show closed with our tradition of the seniors dancing together one last time.
