…原題は「I Can't Believe That You're in Love with Me」♪。見た映画だと1951年発表のハーマン・ウォーク（過去記事でＴＶミニ・シリーズ「戦争の嵐」1983米に触れてます。）の小説を原作とするエドワード・ドミトリク監督、ハンフリー・ボガート出演の「ケイン号の叛乱」1954米で流れてます。

ロバート・フランシスは、ジョン・フォード監督、タイロン・パワー主演の映画「長い灰色の線」1954米でも兵士役だったなぁ…というのは、また別の話。 f(^^;
ググってたらサントラの＃２収録ですが、ＬＰが発売中止となり超レア盤のようです。
ＬＰのＢ面は楽曲ではなくストーリー後半の軍事法廷シーンのセリフ収録…という部分で原作者からストップがかかった模様。

本日のオススメは持ってるＣＤからで、テナー・サックス奏者スタン・ゲッツの演奏。
過去記事で「ディア・オールド・ストックホルム」♪って曲を上げてたりしてますが、1955年12月にスウェーデンのストックホルムで現地のミュージシャンと録音した1956年発売のアルバム「Stan Getz in Stockholm」から＃４。
ベンクト・ハルベルイ(ピアノ)、グナー・ヨンソン(ベース)、アンドリュー・バーマン(ドラムス)とのカルテット。
不本意ながらガラケー視聴不可でしたが…
軽快で美しいオススメ演奏。
