コチラ、結構強い雨に打たれた日中でしたので、かなり前に曲名は上げていた雨歌の超有名曲… f(^^;
雨上がりの蒸し蒸しが嫌な季節になってきましたが…
この曲が頭の中に流れれば、少しは気分も晴れてくる。
◎ジョージ・ロイ・ヒル監督の映画「明日に向って撃て！」1969米の挿入歌（シーンとしては、晴れた日に自転車に興じるポール・ニューマンとキャサリン・ロスの２人の幸せな様子のＢＧＭでした）としてアカデミー賞の主題歌賞を受賞。
ストップ・モーションのニューマンとロバート・レッドフォードの２人がセピア色になっていく映画のエンディングは、忘れ難いものがある好きな作品です。
学生時代の計画帳の裏表紙に主人公２人のイラストの模写(笑)を密かに描いてました。(≧∇≦)
◎1969年の同名アルバムに収録。
本人のアルバムも映画のサントラも持ってないんですが…
ロバート・ゼメキス監督の映画「フォレスト・ガンプ/一期一会」1994米の２枚組サントラに収録されてる（映画のどの部分で流れたんだか記憶がない
）ので、そちらでよく聴いてます。曲終わりのフェイドアウト具合も個人的には好きなポイント。
