Robots are set to start changing the face of retail and beyond in the very near future, which is evident thanks to new announcements from Walmart regarding retailer robots that will be rolled out imminently.
The retail robots consists of thousands of solutions that will work to free up store associates and subsequently put their focus on customer engagement. The robots will be introduced on a national scale and includes 300 Auto-S shelf scanners, 1,500 Auto-C autonomous floor cleaners, 900 Pickup Towers and 1,200 Fast Unloaders that will work to transform the retail experience.
The Walmart retailer robots are positioned to start being integrated with the existing solutions presently within the big-box brand's locations soon with no word yet on exact dates.
