つけ込んで裏切った多数の 弁護士・医師・前述５人の「友人達」対策を考え過ぎるよりは

注：被疑者が多過ぎて、優先順位から大変です

この歌詞の方が遥かに良いですね。

「千の風になって」の元の1934年の英国の詩 “Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep"

取り急ぎ下に和訳してみました
詩の和訳は難しいです。

しかも1934年の英国英語です
"the thousand" は 通常の"thousands"を使うと

次に来る"winds"と濁音が続くので"s"無しにして"the"で強調したのでしょう

“swift” も”the swift” と“the” が付いてるので、英国で愛されている「アマツバメ」を示している可能性大でしょう

２番目の別バ－ジョンの書き方だと最初の行から10行目まで韻を踏んでますね
