　　今日はカナダのシンガーソングライターCéline Мarie Claudette Dion（セリーヌ・ディオン　1968年3月30日 -）を取り上げてみました。

　80年代前半にフランス語圏のシンガーでスタート。90年代『Because You Loved Me』、『It's All Coming Back To Me Now』で世に知られるようになり、97年には映画『タイタニック』の主題歌『My Heart Will Go On』で世界的大ヒットを飛ばしています。

　ポピュラーミュージック界の大御所といわれる彼女の歌　じっくりお楽しみください。

2008　Après avoir été la marraine de l'édition française de Star Academy l'an dernier, Céline participera en direct à la troisième émission de l'édition québécoise cet automne. Le directeur de l'Académie, qui est en charge de l'évaluation et de l'encadrement des candidats sera nul autre que René Angélil. À la fin du mois, René aura aussi sa statue de cire au Musée Grévin de Paris, juste aux côtés de Céline. Toujours à Paris, c'est apparemment le 22 mai que Céline recevra des mains du président Sarkozy sa médaille de la Légion d'Honneur (la plus haute décoration française). Céline commémorera mercredi le 20e anniversaire de sa victoire à l'Eurovision. La chanson était évidemment "Ne partez pas sans moi" que Céline a chanté en représentant la Suisse.

2008　After being a godmother for the France edition of Star Academy (a show similar to American Idol) last year, Céline will appear live on the 3rd show of the Quebecer edition of the show this Fall. The director of the academy who's responsible for the general coaching of the participants will be René Angélil. 　At the end of the month, René will get his own wax statue at the Grévin museum of Paris, right next to Céline's. Still in Paris, it's apparently on May 22nd that Céline will receive her medal of the Legion of Honor (the highest decoration in France) from President Sarkozy. Céline will celebrate on Wednesday the 20th anniversary of her win at the Eurovision contest, "Ne partez pas sans moi", representing Switzerland
