『Anthem』はHANSONにとって6作目のスタジオアルバムで、3CG Recordsからは4作目のリリース。
2013年6月18日にアメリカで発売され、Billboard 200では22位を記録。インディーズ体制になってからも安定してチャート入りしていて、“自分たちのレーベルでも成功できる”ことを証明した作品でもあります。

このアルバムから最終的にカットされた（収録が見送られた）3つの楽曲の存在が明らかになりました。
カットされたのは以下の3曲です。
・「Nothing on Me」（リードボーカル：アイザック）
・「Get So Low」（リードボーカル：ザック）
・「All I Ever Needed」（リードボーカル：テイラー）
■ この曲どんな曲？
制作初期の段階では『Stay Here In My Arms Tonight』という仮タイトルで呼ばれていた。アルバム内ではポップなアッパーチューンに挟まれた位置にありますが、初期の瑞々しいメロウさと、大人になった彼らのビタースイートなエモーションが見事に融合した、隠れた大名曲バラードです。

2:36~あたりの「Just stay here, in my arms…」のヤマ。
それを支えるIsaacの職人技のようなバッキングギターと、Zacのタメを効かせたドラマチックなドラミングのコンビネーションは、30年間お互いの音を聴き続けてきた3人だからこそ到達できた至高のアンサンブルです。
