オールジャパンポップ２０で５位となったほか、１９７９年の第１０回世界歌謡祭でクリスタルキングの『大都会』と並んでグランプリを獲得。ちなみに、準グランプリとなり併せて最優秀歌唱賞を受賞したのは Cissy Houston ですが、彼女は当時１６歳だった娘の Whitney を連れてきていて、バックステージで Bonnie Tyler と顔を合わせたそうです。
