Our hearts are broken. Ace has passed on. No one can touch Ace’s legacy. I know he loved the fans. He told me many times. Sadder still, Ace didn’t live long enough to be honored at the Kennedy Ctr Honors event in Dec. Ace was the eternal rock soldier. Long may his legacy live on!

５０年前に洋楽を聴き始めたころ、Bay City Rollers に続いて夢中になった（といっても、ローラーズほどではなかったが）バンドの founding member の一人が欠けてしまいました。
１９７８年全米３９位、日本ではオールジャパンポップ２０で６位。もともとは、ソロアルバム "Ace Frehley" 用に書かれたものですが、KISS のアルバム "Alive II" の５曲のスタジオ録音曲の一つとして収録されました。
そのソロアルバムからの大ヒットがこちら。
１９７８年全米１３位。もっとも、Ace は、はじめはこの曲（オリジナルは Hello）をカバーすることに乗り気ではなかったそうです。しかし、プロデューサーが粘り強く説得したおかげで彼の代表曲となりました。
