I'm reading the Hunter's Moon in Japanese.
I first read this book in English about 14 years ago. And now, I noticed that I might have skipped detailes back then.
「妖精王の月(The Hunter's Moon)」を日本語で読んでいます。
14年前に英語で読んだ本を、今日本語で読んでいるわけだけど、当時は細かいところを読み飛ばしちゃってた気がするんだよね。
For example, both Findahfar and Guinevere mean "fountain." The former is Irish and the latter is Welsh.
Back then, I wonder if I was even paying attention to details like that.
たとえば、フィンダファーもグウェニヴァーも「泉」と言う意味なんだって。フィンダファーはアイルランド語、グウェニヴァーはウェールズ語。
当時、ちゃんとそういうとこまで読み取ってたかな。
