I found a tiny flat carcase on the road last night in the dark. It was a tiny sparrow chick carcase. The chick might leave the nest yesterday afternoon and tried to cross the road by whether flying or walking. Unfortunately, the car hit the chick or stamped on it while the chick crossing the road. It was the end of life for the chick. It was a really short life of the unlucky chick...
Most of the sparrow chicks cannot survive before starting to eat the foods by themselves, especially in the residential areas. I wonder how many more chicks are around my yard. Hopefully, the chicks will survive as many as possible...
