【Sergei Polunin セルゲイ・ポルーニン 】
1989年11月20日ウクライナ生まれ。
4歳から体操を習い、州立研究所で学ぶため母とともにキエフに移り、
父はポルトガルで働いて彼らを支えた。
2003年 13歳で渡英。英国ロイヤルバエイ団に進み、
2009年 最年少19歳でプリンシパルになった。
2012年1月 頂点に立ったカンパニーの最高位を突然辞職し、
イゴール・ゼレンスキーらの招待を受けロシアに渡る。
2014年、映画監督 David LaChapelleとのコラボにより、
Hozierが発表したビデオ「Take Me to Church」のダンスビデオを含む
新しいプロジェクトに参加した。
2016年、Steven Cantor監督・ドキュメンタリー映画『Dancer』に出演。
自らの芸術活動を進めるProject Poluninを立ち上げた。
