I saw this little guy on a tree on Mejiro Doori which is a pretty busy 4 lane street that borders my neighborhood. It’s a Japanese Gecko. We call them “Yamori” and they are considered good luck to see in or on your house, as the name can be interpreted to mean House Guardian.
