「プロセス」に喜びを感じる

ゲーテがこう言いました。

"A really great talent, finds its greatest happiness in execution...Inferior talents do not enjoy art for its own sake; while at work they have nothing before their eyes but the profit they hope to make when they have done. With such worldly views and tendencies, nothing great was ever yet produced."

科学研究もまったく同じですね。真の優れた研究者は、研究を実行すること、つまり「プロセス」に喜びを感じるものです。成果をあげるために研究すると、ほとんどの場合は大した成果をあげられないでしょう。
