the 比較級, the 比較級 の構文です．
- The game ends when someone actually loses it or delivers the killer insult.「どちらかが（笑いを）堪えられなくなったり，キレッキレの侮辱を言ったらゲーム終了です．」
・"lose it" とは「自分の感情を制御できずに，笑ったり，泣いたり，叫んだりする」という意です．つまり，この "it"とは「自分の感情を制御するもの（control of one's emotion）」というイメージです．
・"killer"とは本来「殺し屋」という意味ですが，「イケている/良質な/ムズイ/きつい」という形容詞のスラングとなります．日本語でも「〜すぎて死んだ」と言ったりしますよね．例えば「（ジョークが）面白すぎて死んだ」「（テスト）が難しすぎて死んだ」などなど．この場合，あなたはジョークやテストに殺されたということであり，このジョークやテストが"killer「殺し屋」"となるのです．なので文脈に応じてポジティブな意味にもネガティブな意味にもなります．
"The English exam was a real killer"「英語の試験がめちゃくちゃムズかった．」
- Don't psyche me out.「私の頭を混乱させないで．」
"psyche (someone) out"は「（誰か）を動揺させるために戸惑わせる」という意です．この文は" Don't mess with my head"と言うこともできます．
- It's such a shame to meet somebody you thought you would like.「イケてると思ってた人（だが実際会ってみるとそうではなかった人）に会うのは悲しいことです．」
"I thought I would like you."と言うと暗に「好きになると思ってたけど，実際は違った．」という意味になります．実際に会った後もイケてると思っていることを伝えたければ"I knew I would like you."といいましょう．

・普段，"try to"ばかり使ってしまっている人は，" make an effort to"という表現もマスターして使ってみましょう．
・"compound word"とは「複合語」という意であり，２つ以上の単語が組み合わさってできた単語のことを指します．（ex. bookshelf = book + shelf）

"on the ropes"はボクシングが起源の表現であり，相手に攻められてリングを囲むロープにもたれ掛かってしまっている状態を指します．ボクシング以外でも，敗北が目前の状況でこの表現が使われます．

アメリカでは男性が髭が薄いことは好ましいことではない様です．ジェニファーは自分の陰毛と比べて，どうクリスの髭を罵しろうとしていたんでしょうか笑．

"convict (someone) of (something)"で「（誰か）を（何か）の罪で有罪判決を下す」という意味になります．
