"screw (it) up"で「大失敗をする/へまをする」という意味になります．"mess up"も同様の意味で使われます．

- I can guarantee you.「保証できるよ（＝絶対まちがいない）」
- We have to get to the beauty department, and God knows how long that's going to take.「これから美容部にも行かないといけないし，どれだけ（メイクに）時間がかかるか分からないよ（＝すごく時間がかかるだろう．）」
"God knows...."で「....は神のみぞ知る」という意味になります．日本人は「のみ」を意識て"God only knows..."と言いがちですが，"only"はなくてもOKです．寧ろ無い方がCommonです．

"disaster"は本来「災害」という意味ですが，人にモノに対して使うと「人をイライラさせる/失望させるぐらいダメダメな」という意味になり，"failure"とほぼ同義になります．
