We are to wait for Christmas and the year-end soon.

クリスマスと年末が、すぐそこまでやって来てますね。
和やかなこの季節、良い時をお過ごしではないでしょうか。
さて、12月の初旬に一週間ほどイギリスへ行って参りました。
（今回は、主人と・・・子どもたちを実家にお願いしまして）
欧州が初めての夫の通訳をしながら、自分の語学brush-upも兼ねていろいろと巡りました。

British food has got better these years, but still my favourite one being the big English breakfast.

Railways/transportation are quite good and organised, then on the way you can see the beautiful sceneries of especially the countryside (sheeps!).
列車や交通網は昔から発達していて、車窓からはとりわけのどかな田園風景がのぞめます（羊も！）

we just bumped into the lovely Christmas market.
丁度クリスマス・マーケットの期間で、あちこち可愛らしかったです

バースの名所、1700年代のアパートメントが連なったロイヤル・クレセント
from Bath the buses can take tourists to Cotswolds landscape.
一路、美しい村々で有名なコッツウォルズ丘陵地へバスで・・・

スコーンと紅茶のセットはクリームティーと呼ばれます

レイコックの村、古い修道院はハリーポッターの映画ロケ地に使われました
finally to London, a dynamic and restless royal capital.
最終目的地のロンドン、変わらずダイナミックで動き続ける王都
Buckingham Palace
駆け足で観光スポットを周り・・・バッキンガム宮殿
despite the short stay, I could meet up with some friends in central and had a good time.
