The other day, I went to stroll in Kitakamakura, which was about thirty minutes by train from the nearest station of my town.
先日、ぶらりと北鎌倉へ行ってきました。 最寄り駅からは電車で約三十分。
I have not seen many temples in my life so far, however with the age I feel that interests in such domestic sceneries have arisen.
これまでそれほどお寺巡りなどはしたことなかったのですが、年を重ねるにつれて
国内の景色にも興味を持つようになりました。

Unlike around the Kamakura station, this area's tranquility and modesty were something striking.
鎌倉駅の周りとは少し違って、この小ぢんまりとしたエリアは静けさと控えめな感じが印象的でした。
Not being so far from Yokohama or central Tokyo, it certainly holds the
out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere, and will attract people season by season.
横浜や都心からもそう遠くはないけれど、ただよう独特の“非日常感”は、季節ごとに人々を魅了するのだろうなと思いました。
