昨日は、初級コースを終えて中級に進まれた生徒さんのレッスンでした
マンツーマンだからか（？）呑みこみと上達が速くて、この頃は自分の話したいテーマに沿って色々と英語で伝えられるようになりました
It's a kind of amazing she is progressing her ability to talk in English
and exchange opinions with me!
ディスカッションの域に入ってきたので、中級ならでは
文法や言い回しを確実に押さえれば（＝覚える）、スムーズに会話が出来るようになり
ネイティブとの話も盛り上がるでしょう
＊中級ではレッスンの８～９割が英語です
For instance, this time we talked about the theme of parenting; how to raise a child
and what we think is important in doing that.
Of course there are many topics which we could refer to, but it's definitely more
interesting and will be enthusiastic for the student to pick up the theme he/she wants.
例えば、今回は育児というテーマで「普段どんな風に子どもを育てているか、子育てでどういうことが
大事と思うか」について会話を広げました
勿論それ以外にもさまざまなトピックがありますが、生徒さんがとりわけ興味あるもの＆話題を
選んでもらうようにしています
And when you've got something that you eager to expand in conversation
(even in the mother tongue!), I bet you just cannot shut the mouth but talk.
Because there really lies the passion in that theme.
なぜなら、これについて話したい！（たとえ母国語であっても）と熱望するようなテーマのほうが
（話し手の）伝える意欲が湧きますし、そこに情熱があるから会話も盛り上がってゆきます
中級コースではこういった『自分の意見を伝える力』、『会話を盛り上げ、また掘り下げる力』を発展させていきたいと考えています
Why don't we broaden the conversation and topics in English together?
一緒に、幅のある英会話、そしてトピックを広げていきましょう！
