For as long as I know, Shinjuku has always been known as a very busy place.

So much things to do, so many people, and plenty of tall buildings next to each other.

One evening last month, Gerad and I went to Shinjuku and decided to take a walk towards the direction that we haven't really been before.

From L-Breathe Sports store next to Newoman mall, we walked straight towards the back streets of the latter.

Much to my surpise, it suddenly felt like I'm in a different place!

Though it was still covered with city lights, the packed crowd was gone!

It was way more peaceful than the area near and around Shinjuku station.

We went around the block and walked towards Takashimaya, crossed the foot-bridged, and headed towards the Southern Terrace.

It was a beautiful excursion.

I would like to do it again, in another Tokyo location. noteLove love
