As Japan governnment starts to think about ending the State of Emergency, I thought to myself if it is the right move.
Since there is nothing I can do with what ever the Government will decide on, all I can control is to continue to be mindful about protecting myself from the virus spread.
I do not want to be compacent.
Complacent /kəmˈpleɪs(ə)nt/ means to show uncritical satisfaction with oneself or one's achievements. Forbes also descibed it as a "feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect, or the like; self-satisfaction or smug satisfaction with an existing situation, condition, etc.”
I will continue to be all the time vigilant, sanitize, wash my hands, keep my distance from people as much as I can, shower and wash the clothes rightaway when I get home.
But the most important thing for me is to do all these with peace and gratefulness for having to live today .
