I have been to different places here in Japan, and I must say Nikko is one of my favorites. I have been to Nikko more than a couple of times already and yet the place keeps on surprising me.
On my last visit, The hotel that I stayed in was very nice, and it was quite affordable. It was posh and the outdoor bath in the porch was also a plus. You can see the night sky and gaze at the stars while relaxing in the Rotemburo.
In Nikko, there are a lot of fun activities to do and places to go. I decided to go hiking instead and went straight ahead to Ryuokyo. I highly recommend this trail for nature lovers. The view of the canyon from the bridges was remarkable and the color of the water is emerald green. It will definitely give you a great hike experience.
I may have been to Nikko several times, but it always take my breath away.
