模様替え rearranging room

日本で6ヶ月を迎えたベイビー、寝返りとハイハイの後に進むことを覚え、コロコロクルクル大変です！

Baby who became 6 months old in Japan, now she can rollover and crawl backwards , always rolling rolling spinning spinning!!

そんなこんなで部屋の模様替えです！

Because of this we rearranged our room!

ゴッツンしないように、クッションクッション！

We put cushions everywhere so she doesn't bang her head.

自由にコロコロクルクルしてね

そして、あんなに広いプレイマットからはみでる

Then she is out of that huge play mat!

これを買うまでは、床に洗剤を置いておかないとだったので、見た目は悪いし床掃除はしにくいし、ずっとほしかったのです！！

Before I got it, the washing powder was on the floor so it didn't look good and it was annoying when I clean up the floor, that's why I really wanted it!!

以前は、産後の物忘れで、洗濯が終わった後「あれ？洗剤入れたったけ」と思うことが。洗剤が遠かったので。(床。まぁ遠くもないけど)

After childbirth, I sometimes think like " oh no! Did I put washing powder in the machine!?" Because the powder was far .( it's on the floor, maybe not so far)

なんど洗濯し直したものか！

How many times I re-washed !!

今は、目の前にあるので忘れることがなくなりました

I don't forget it anymore! It's in front of me!

ちなみにいつもはちゃんとドア🚪で隠れています。

By the way,it's usually hidden behind the door.

≪今日の英語≫

『憧れの暖炉』の訳を"my dream fire place "にしましたが、(憧れる =long for )から(longing fire place )と訳すと変な英語になるそうです。

動詞の I long for a fire place. は正しい英語だそうです。

動詞+ing を名詞の前につけてcrying baby やrunning kids はできるけど、なぜlonging fire place ができないのかというと、

I'm longing for a fire place.憧れているのは『私』であって『fire place 』ではないからだそうです。

Crying baby やrunning kids は

Baby is crying. Kids are running. と主語が『baby 』や『kids』です。

ちなみに、「じゃあlonging meは使えるの?」と聞いてみましたが、これも変な英語だそうです。

Crying me やrunning me も変だそうです。

日本語なら『泣いてる私』って使えるのにね。
