My Dear Host Mother, Hilda went to heaven just a few days ago. She was my host mother who was with me at the start in the US (1989) and made my American life possible !! She taught me about God, understood me when I could not speak English and listened to me when I married Jorge and supported me when I had my children…. She was truly my American mother.
I miss her so much but I know she is in heaven in peace. Thank you Hilda - you came to my life and I will never forget your love and kindness🩷

私の大切なアメリカのお母さん、ヒルダが数日前に天国に召されました。私に神様の存在を教えてくれ、アメリカでの生活のスタート地点からずっとずっと支えてくれたヒルダ。一緒に日本に行った時も含め、楽しかった思い出ばかりです。最後は認知症で辛かったと思いますが、今は平安の中にいると思います。どうぞ安らかにおやすみください。いつまでもヒルダから受けた愛は忘れません🩷
