8歳6ヶ月の日記ではこんなことを書いていました。

Dear Diary,

Today, I just went to Osaka! I was looking so forward to this trip and at last it came! I will write about what I remember the most. There are four.

One of my memorable moments is when I was at the dolphin tank. I was taking pictures with the dolphins that were passing by. Then one of the dolphins stopped and smiled at the camera. I've heard of dolphins being smart, so maybe it was posing for the photo!

The second moment is when I saw the whale shark. It was so enormous that I was frightened but thought it was cool at the same time. There were mantras and stingrays in the same tank. I wonder how they live in the same place. Aren't they enemies?

The third moment is when I made a penguin sculpture out of sponge-like clay. Mommy said it was perfect, but I personally thought its back was a tiny bit flat and didn't look PERFECT.

The fourth memorable moment is when I ate Takoyaki. We went to a Takoyaki store. Mommy politely asked the waitress if they could leave out the octopus for me. The waitress asked the man making the Takoyaki and he said that if we are going to take the octopus out, we should get only the Yakisoba, while scowling. The waitress told us that it will take 15 minutes, but if we still want it, they will make it. Mommy said no thank you because she saw the mans angry face, and I sobbed all through my lunch.

Although there were same unhappy moments, my trip to Osaka was overall very enjoyable.
